Never underestimate small things, for the small things can be big things! Jack would be 5, going to kindergarten this next year. Sad to think about, because it makes the hole in our heart hurt deeper, but his short life still continues to teach. He reminds me of our purpose here in this mortal journey and goal to all be together again someday. No empty chairs in heaven, as President Hinckley would say.
Jack gave us exactly 24 hours and reminds me that EVERY DAY is precious! ONE complete day! Moments matter. A lot of joy in ONE day! Patient lil duffer let our huge clan snuggle him, one at a time, and look into his eyes for a glimpse of heaven. He reminds me there can be joy in the midst of our greatest trials, and God is there with you! So proud of his strong mama! Ashley proves we can reach inside and grab strength we didn’t know we had, to overcome the greatest trials thrown our way!
It is a fun tradition to have a picnic play date with Jack, trim up his tree and nurture the grounds. This year his siblings put pinwheels all over the cemetery and it is so tender to watch the love they have in their heart for him. We love you Jack! xo #our11 #lifecanbesodifficult #togetherforever #strongmama #loveoneanother
